In each of the following cases, our tools may be applied to accomplish the disassembly.
Immediately below you will find a large dryer gear from a paper machine of one of our customers. After the large bolts are loosend our compounded angle wedges are inserted into the gaps on either side of the center (here are 10 o’cloch and 4 o’clock) and as they are driven into the gaps they release the clamping pressure on the center shaft . By either simultaneously or alternatly driving the wedges , right and left, the effectivness of process is improved while eliminating any distortion ot the gear.
Immediatley below you will see depicted a flange with our compounded angle wedges inserted out side of the left and right if teh clamping bolts. Here again by driving the wedges wither simultaneously or alternatively the separation is accomplished faster and without distortion of the parts.
Below are two additional situation in which our compounded agle wedges may be employed to cause the separations of the parts in a manner similar to those discussed previously.
